Six things you should know about the resurrection of the Disney World

As the gradual reopening of Disney Springs, as the first Disney World headquarters, with a number of shops and restaurants, is underway, expectations are high and there are several recommendations to follow.

“With that as our next milestone, we are eager to welcome our Guests, some Cast Members and Third-Party Operator Participants with the safety and well-being of all at the forefront of all our planning efforts,” explained information of the entertainment company officer.

“As we navigate this unprecedented time in the most responsible way possible, we have implemented a number of new safety measures based on the guidance of health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the appropriate government agencies”, the statement added.

“We, along with third participating Operators, are committed to a responsible reopening of Disney Springs,” said in this communication.

For cast members, participating employees, and guests, there are 6 key things you should know before arriving at Disney Springs, including:

1 Limited parking and reduced entrances
2 Temperature detections before entry
3 Facial covers are required for guests 3 years and older
4 Physical distancing practices, including physically distanced queues and physical barriers.
5 Temporary operation modifications, including reduced hours at select locations and without scheduled entertainment offerings or high-contact interactive areas
6 A greater focus on disinfection and sanitation, including the addition of hand washing stations and hand sanitizers in key areas.

“Since many of these measures will be new and can evolve, we want to make sure that guests, cast members and operational participating employees are aware of all these changes,” the report said.

COVID-19 Warning

The company has taken improved health and safety measures for visitors, other guests, and cast members, who must follow all published instructions while visiting Disney Springs.

“There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to serious illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, seniors and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable, “the information emphatically points out.

“By visiting Disney Springs, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19,” the company report warns.
