Senator Ted Cruz enters the escene

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, dawns today, radiant and ready to strengthen his political position in the face of the November presidential elections, whose heated debate was precipitated by the death of the African American George Floyd at the hands of a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, in Minneapolis.

Radiant, because he has joined a strong debate that opens the Republican senator, Ted Cruz, who ensures that the outgoing administration of former President Barack Obama left “armed an FBI”, to attack the incoming government of Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, protests and curfews in major cities in the United States continue, while new days are announced for the next few days, something that increases tensions in the country.

“Thank you Ted. They got caught cold, but this should never be allowed to happen to an incoming administration again – Spied on. Makes Watergate look like small potatoes! OBAMAGATE!”, Trump said on twitter.

This in reference to the pronouncements previously made by the Republican senator, Ted Cruz, who is leading an investigation related to the so-called Obamagate.

And it is that the Republican senator Ted Cruz, prior to an appearance before the Senate of Rod Rosenstein to Appear Before Senate, a former high-level Justice Department (DOJ) official, responsible for appointing former special adviser Robert Mueller, will testify before lawmakers that they are investigating alleged links between then-candidate Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia.

In Twitter, Cruz said: “@senjudiciary #Rosenstein hearing: We’re looking for the truth about the Obama Administration officials who weaponized the FBI and DOJ to target and entrap the incoming administration.

That doesn’t include:
✖️Rioting
✖️Looting
✖️Lighting police cars on fire
✖️Attacking fellow citizens
“Law enforcement must be unequivocal: If you do that, you will be arrested, prosecuted, and put in jail”, added Cruz.

“What happened to #GeorgeFloyd was a horrific act of police brutality. Yet, we’ve seen #Antifa take advantage of this crisis & wrongly paint peaceful protestors as violent. We need to stand united in protecting the safety of Americans, & that includes law-abiding police officers”, Senator Cruz says.
